ESZ test laboratory
ESZ maintains its own test laboratory with the following tasks:
- Quality assurance through self-monitoring
- In-House product development
- development of special solutions for unusual customer requirements
In order to satisfy this requirement spectrum, a mashine pool is available with the following range of performances:
Pressure tests with vertical loads of up to 5,000 kN
determination of bearing deformations (cushioning, spreading)
determination of the brearing behaviour with impressed inclinations
performance of pressure breakage tests
Creep tests with vertikal loads of up to 3.000 kN
Checking of the continuous suitability of elastomer materials by long-term tests.
Determination of creep behaviour or adhesion quality (in the case of reinforced materials)
Dynamic properties in the free oscillation test
Determination of natural frequency, spring stiffness and Lehr’s damping ratio of elastomer bearings and springs.
- Maximum loadable area 800 x 1200 mm²
- Maximum mass 1700 kg
- 3-axis acceleration measurement
Tests can also be performed under more difficult conditions, such as different temperatures, wetness or moisture.
